Roaming Charges
What are Roaming Charges?
Mobile phone roaming charges are the extra cost of using your mobile outside your local (your country) area. In other words if you’re outside the UK with a UK mobile phone network provider, you’ll be charged above the usual amount to call from abroad to the UK.

In February 2002 Ofcom released an industry report advising the cost of mobile roaming charges set by UK mobile networks. This was anything up to £1.50 per minute to receive a call. The cost to call the UK when roaming with a UK network abroad can still be as high as £1.80 per minute. The cost of using your mobile phone abroad still remains a hugely expensive luxury.
0044 is the first and only website in the UK to specialise in mobile phone roaming charges solutions. Their range of international prepaid sim cards allows travellers to avoid roaming charges and save up to 80%.
